I travel hopefully always and I’m open to possibility, and I’m sure you are too if you’re still reading this…
I’m a cultured kind of individual with lots of interests and enthusiasm for life and new experiences. I like the endorphins from an active lifestyle but I’m just as happy in a more relaxed mode with music or a good book - always better if shared with a cosy evening in, especially as darker evenings keep us indoors more, but concerts, plays and films beckon too.
By this stage in life we all have lots of personal history and heritage, some of which may be happy, some rather sad perhaps. I think that someone still trying to untangle themselves from their past is probably not for me. I have a very bijoux family with just two daughters who I see as often as I can and of course, local friends and activities which I enjoy. But there’s still that special piece of jigsaw missing. Maybe you are that unique piece?
Among many things, I’m quite musical and enjoy playing as well as listening. I try my hand at writing songs from time to time and some of these convince an audience, sometimes not. Guitar and keyboards are my main instruments and I enjoy singing both on my own and as part of a local Pop Choir.
Work-wise, I’ve retired from full-time employment these days. I work part-time on local radio so I do a fair amount of writing and dare I say it, reading out loud! I find it satisfying to meet a diversity of people and unlock their stories and also preparing features for others to enjoy over the airwaves and on the internet.
Travel-wise I like to engage in a deeper way if I can rather than just a fleeting tourist. Why not ask me about some of these ideas?
