I care about people more than ideas but I am also turned on by intelligence and enjoy and take part in a variety of cultural activities, including dance and writing. I try to remain fit and like swimming and walking. I have many friends and interests and I also enjoy time alone. I still have the optimism to believe in the possibility of a loving relationship with the right person. I am left wing politically and am involved in helping the homeless. It is difficult to define what I am looking for - it could be a lot of different people - there is no one ideal person. I want to meet someone who is a father and has brought up a family. Someone who is close to their family of origin and values friendship. Financial security is an absolute must as is integrity in financial matters.
I am a poet so someone with imagination and literary interests would be ideal. I love music and sing in a choir so someone who likes various kinds of music would be good. I like wine and food but am not keen on heavy drinkers or couch potatoes. Keeping in shape is expected of women so why not men?
You must have a sense of humour and enjoy being silly as well as being deeply involved in the serious matters of life.
