I am looking to find my forever partner, someone to share the ups and downs of life with....to make the mundane fun....to grow old with, yet be a child with....to make each other laugh, and lift each other up....someone to have lots of silliness with, but also have deep philosophical contemplations of life with.....to go on adventures with...and....just make the most of each day in life in pure love and happiness.
As you can tell by now I am very romantic :) I love walking in the country hand in hand and cuddling up on the sofa, as much as a trip to the theatre, or live music, road trips, a game of table tennis, visiting castles/museums, playing pool/darts, or playing games. I have a thirst for knowledge, love learning and experiencing new things and places.
How would friends describe my personality? "Effervescent" was one from one of my best friends! Fun, chatty, silly, loving, caring, reliable and empathetic. I feel empathy is an important quality for anyone to have. Oh....and beards ! Beards are good ! But not vital ;) :D
I love good wine, good food, and good company, perhaps with music, a roaring fire.... deep conversations and laughter in equal measures.
My 2 favourite places in the UK are Cornwall and the Yorkshire Dales. I have been lucky enough to live in the Dales for the last 2 years, but am now living back in Hertfordshire. I love travelling (I used to work as a travel agent), and have many places I would like to visit. But equally I would love to travel the UK in a motorhome or similar one day. I am very family orientated, and have 3 wonderful grown up boys.

I am looking to find someone with the same outlook on life as me. Someone equally as caring, empathetic, romantic and fun. Intelligent, honest, reliable, and someone who can make me laugh.
To make a relationship work....I'd say complete transparency and openness. I don't have many dealbreakers, as I am very open minded to most things, and I like a bit of quirkiness, but.... (so sorry ) - no tattoos or piercings.
As for activities I would like to share.... things I mentioned above, and ..... add in a bit of kitchen boogieing ;)
