homely type - prefer socialising on a small scale, doing something structured - with a purpose;
Always keen to extend my knowledge + keep my brain very active.
Pandemic permitting (!), I spend about half my time in Leeds and half in the Midlands (N. Warks).
Like...
MUSIC - very varied tastes (especially Beethoven - my musical hero), pop (mainly 60s-80s) but also French/Italian artists and musicals (JJG/Eros R); keen to learn the piano.
SPORT - used to be very active - could do with being more so since retiring from team sports [hockey/football]; enjoy racket sports, would like to get in to cycling/mountainbiking but need company! rugby league (spectator).
Listen to RADIO (no TV!) - esp. Radio 4 (intellectual stimulation) and Classic FM.
TRAVEL - hope to travel more widely once retired (Canada, NZ/Australia) and escape UK winters!
COOKING - main courses.
