I am certainly not shy and enjoy any opportunities and new experiences that come my way!! I am of the firm belief that you have to get out there and meet someone - the picture is only the first very small step and can be misleading. I really don't want to correspond for weeks via email, best to meet up and see if there is any connection straight away.
If you are into the simple pleasures of life - walks in the country, sunday afternoon downtime, good music, freshly prepared food with a dose of theatre, cinema and concerts, then i'm the one for you. Prefer team sports (badminton, tennis though love a solitary swim to unwind! Not a 'pub person' at all. Just be nice to share some of life challenges, have some support and some passion and fun in my life.

Think that I have said enough in the 'why should people get to know me' section. I would like to meet someone who is attentive (but not too clingy!), that has a life of their own but happy to spend quality time with me (and, in time, my two teenage boys - though they are not typical teenagers and are respectful). Somebody who is just ordinary!!! and does nothing to excess really. No-one is perfect though. Just looking for that certain somebody to fill a gap that is starting to develop in my life as my children grow older.
