About her
I'm very lucky to live in a beautiful part of the world! I love visiting National Trust properties and dreaming that I could live in them, wearing long dresses and having servants, but know from my original surname that I would have been 'below stairs'! Love walks by the sea or in the countryside, but wish I had a dog (so if you have one I could share that would be good!)
I read lots; mostly it's crime fiction and it's great to be in a relationship where one can share what you are reading.
I'm not massively into television, but adore good dramas; the Swedish sub-titled ones that have been on in the last couple of years have me completely 'hooked'!
Music is a really important part of life, but I have never learnt to play an instrument, regrettably. I love powerful, up-beat or/and 'meaningful'! Have recently started listening to classical again, hence being here! Love Dvorak. Also love John Martyn, Talking Heads, the Stones etc etc to give you an idea! Whoops, think I've run out of space....so I must be waffling on!

My ideal match will be mature but not take themselves too seriously!
They will enjoy the countryside and seaside and be fit and active, but not obsessively visiting a gym or skiing off mountain tops in an attempt to prove to someone or other that they aren't really past 30 at all!
I would like to travel with someone, especially warm places; I'm a summer person!
I guess I would love to meet someone who appreciates simple, everyday things in life, because I think that sharing ordinary, everyday pleasures is actually really rewarding; I enjoy good, simple food and wine or an ice-cold beer whilst looking out over the Helford river.
Physical chemistry is really important to me; and part of that is appearance; I am attracted to men who are quite a bit taller than me and hair is good too! Receding is fine, but shaved baldness doesn't 'do it' for me I'm sorry! I also am quite slim, and like holding and cuddling slim or 'solid' bodies but 'extraness' in body size doesn't 'do it' for me I'm afraid! I would need to see a photo to respond, otherwise I feel bad about not replying!
