I prefer 2 wheels over 4, trees over cities, coffee over wine, music over silence and sensuality over conflict. The auditory experience is very important to me. I am a member of a moto-riding club and I'm currently organising a trail riding group. I cycle every day and a trip to a local island for a coffee is one of my favourite activities. Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Karl Jenkins, Elgar, Coldplay, Bee Gees, Elton John, Mike Oldfield and Abba all move me (it's a longer list). I have a deep and extensive knowledge of the English language and read copiously. My work at the BBC and helping to start two businesses make me proud. If I could have a super power, it would be to disable every weapon ever devised. Photography and audio electronics are my hobbies. I love the outdoors. I have modest but practical cooking skills. I am fully vaccinated. A recent traffic accident has temporarily slowed me down, but I am almost back to normal.
