About him
Difficult to know where to start. I'm here because I don't get chance to meet many like minded individuals doing the activities I undertake.
My friends would describe me as a logical problem solver who is principled and undertakes a wide spectrum of activities. Someone who has had a lot of life experience and is well grounded but willing to try new things.
First and foremost I practice a tough battlefield ju jutsu style which runs in the family as a way of life. I enjoy time-trial running and intensive circuit training although perhaps not so much at the time! I also play competitive badminton and have an academic interest in the science of ballistics.
I currently work as a physio in Manchester at a private gym but I have a varied background as a qualified forensic ballistics specialist, aquatic ecologist and lecturer.
I am open minded and enjoy a good laugh, my humour can be very dry at times as a Taurean. My small circle of close friends would say I'm fairly quiet and reserved but by digging beneath the surface and you'll find a genuine guy who loves to share deep companionship with like-minded individuals.

Essentially I am looking for someone who appreciates what it's like to have a passion, and perhaps who shares that interest too. Someone whose joie de vivre will drive both parties on to excel.
Principally I am looking for someone who can have a mutually enjoyable time spending time together and to see where things go from there.
I want to keep this open as my experiences tell me not to look in one direction for too long to avoid missing the wood for the trees.
