I play string chamber music, and sing sometimes in choirs. I get very involved in my local community, wherever that is. I love going for walks (but not route-marches) but I also love dawdling on a sunny beach doing nothing very much. I am always happy with a good book (or a good man, or a good string quartet), or gardening, etc. Anything which is aesthetic, tactile and spiritual, and concerned with improving the world - or just enjoying it.

I would like to meet someone who knows what he wants, who would rather fit me around his present life than build it round me. That I suppose means someone who already has some established activities and loves. If possibly, I would like to share music, either making it, or listening to it; the absence of that might, sadly, be a deal-breaker.
