About him
Hello. Thanks for taking a look at this. I'm a quiet, thoughtful person, looking for someone similar to explore life with. I'm curious about all sorts of things, a bit of an intellectual, who likes to help others and who thinks old fashioned courtesy and respect are far from dead. I seem to be the one people turn to for support and help.
I'm particularly enthusiastic about the natural world and all the wonderful things in it, and enjoy walking, exploring new places, and learning new things. I'm interested in the arts too, especially classical music and photography, but I'm curious about most things.
Other things about me you might like to know: I don't drink alcohol, but drink far too much tea! I love talking with people and I'm full of fascinating but often useless information. I enjoy good food, either eating out, or cooking my own, even baking my own bread. I love going out for walks on the beach early on Sundays when its quiet. I listen to Radio 4 a lot, and laugh out loud at the News Quiz and I'm sorry I haven't a Clue (perhaps I shouldn't admit that, but it is true!).
