Hi, nice of you to drop by.
I work as an ecologist which for much of the time can be classed as newt chaser and glorified poo detective! I love being outside so this job is fantastic for me. I love running (when not injured) and especially getting muddy on these large obstacle courses which are popping up all over the country.
I enjoy many activities, cinema, walking, pub quizzes - although those are beginning to make me sound older than I am. I'll throw in falconry experiences and segwey, not sure that helps. I used to play the piano and saxophone but haven't done for years. I haven't owned a piano in 12 years and I miss it a great deal, something I need to rectify in the next year!
I have a pet snake, Buffy, who is fantastic. I used to have bearded dragons which I also adored. Fluffy animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs also have a place in my heart, although they are more likely to bite than a reptile!
Gangster and war films excite me just as much as sappy girl ones, so I am tolerant of many genre.
I am loyal and faithful to friends, probably to my downfall as it hasn't always been returned. A bit quirky, although I do try not to let the weird out straight away.

Honesty is very important to me and not taking yourself too seriously. Life's too short. Someone who enjoys family life and won't think twice at getting stuck in to help.
I don't expect a champagne lifestyle (my collection of wellies should confirm that!) but I won't be able to cope with a slobby, lazy and inactive life. Let's go play outside come rain or shine, maybe in the hail if it doesn't last too long!
