About him
I am 74 going on 55. Most people, even on first meeting me, say I look young and cannot believe my age. Friends, of whom I have many, think I am likeable, and I very much enjoy socialising. I can be both serious and funny and generally treat life in a fairly light-hearted way. Whilst not wealthy I am comfortable enough, own my own home outright, and regard myself as being generous with my time and money.
I am self-employed, having my own on-line business. I have travelled widely for busines and would love to travel a great deal more for leisure, with the right person.
I love challenges, variety in activities, trying new things, looking forward with optimism, being with people yet occasionally appreciating solitude. I adore the countryside and walking, eating out, travel, sightseeing, and attending concerts. (TV watching is limited to the likes of a good film or documentary, (plus re-runs of Dad's Army, etc.)
I consider myself as reasonably intelligent, have always enjoyed good health, and generally do not have a great deal to complain about. My main relaxation is music - I play piano and organ, and sing. I love sport, used to play cricket, and I love cooking and occasional entertaining.
I have a great deal to give and would love to share life with the right lady and thus fill the one yawning gap in my life.

I am looking for a woman who is attractive, full of life, gregarious and fun to be with, physically at least reasonably fit, and as liked by my friends as I would want to be by hers. If she likes the things I like then so much the better, but I would fully support her career and own interests and involve myself in them as much as she would want. I need someone who I am proud to be with, to share things with, and who wants a lot of loving.
She would ideally like to travel, both at home and abroad - there are so many places in the world to see.
