I love life for what it gives and I always try to look upon the positive side. I enjoy nature and the great outdoors. People fascinate me and I enjoy having company. I enjoy music: classical, trad jazz and and folk but at the same time I have an open mind. I used to play the piano but now play the ukulele rather badly and my singing is quite atrocious so much so that my cat gets up and walks away. I do not play sport any longer but I love to watch all kinds and have been glued to the TV watching both the Rio Olympics and the Paraolympics recently. I am not a political animal and disharmony in life makes me sad.

My ideal match would have to have a sense of humour and a wicked one at that. He must be kind, loving, loyal and trustworthy. It would be ideal if we were able to share a few activities together ie music and art appreciation, dancing, walking in the country or by the sea, looking round National Trust properties, and an appreciation of household pets and doing some travelling both in the UK and abroad, if time allows! I like a man to be well dressed whether the dress be casual or smart, he must be an interesting companion and generally conversant in most topics. I like a medium tall man of slim-ish build.
