I am a well-rounded individual. Very musical and interested in sport, culture and foreign travel, as well as languages. I am a positive, extrovert person with a balanced view on life. I'm highly-educated but not arrogant. People say I'm honest, friendly and fairly gentle.
Friends would describe me as reliable, sensible but fun-loving. I really have a passion for music of all genres; but being a semi-professional musician means I listen to and play a lot of music.
I enjoy learning more about the world we live in, for example by learning foreign languages and enjoying foreign travel. I also follow current affairs, and volunteer in local schools to help with their music provision.
To relax, I play the piano and bassoon, sing in a choir and go swimming. I enjoy visiting friends around the country.

I particularly like honest, friendly and reliable people, who have at least some sort of a sense of humour. I like people who are kind and easy going - the strong and silent or at least quiet type!
Being quite loyal is important to me, and constancy rather than being volatile or moody is most crucial too.
If you are tall, athletic and broad-shouldered that is ideal, but I realise that beauty is more than skin deep!
I would like to share hiking and possibly sporting interests with my partner. My preference is for someone who is intelligent and can converse about the Arts, history and culture. Smokers and loads of tattoos are a real no-no for me.
