About him
I am a caring person, looking for company and affection, to bring happiness into my life once again. I enjoy travelling to places of interest, near and farther afield; watching various sports on T.V., from the armchair, (one can be so critical sitting and watching). Sport has always figured highly in my life, but now I play my best games (football and cricket especially) from the armchair. My greatest joy and interest is listening to classical music and opera, and especially attending live concerts. Although I can and do cook for myself (only to keep starvation from the door), I do try to dine out at a restaurant or pub. once a week. Since retiring from teaching I have done charity work at the local hospital, working in the League of Friends shop , where I enjoy meeting and conversing with a wide variety of people, where good acquaintances have been made. I regard each day as one to be filled with some interesting activity, be it reading a novel, a Xword,, geneology, gardening, or a drive out in the car to some natural beauty spot, when company is missing and would be so appreciated. I I am naturally friendly, thoughtful, considerate, and quietly spoken person (in spite of a career spent as a Secondary School teacher). I taught Geography and Geology, and still maintain an interest in both.
