About him
There is something about me which I share with everybody on the planet: I'm getting older! The less-usual thing is that I'm approaching quite a senior "0". Later this year, 90 looms. However I'm pretty fit and definitely not done with life. I've still got three wheels on my wagon and I'm rolling along with a good deal of optimism. Retirement is now my life and, having been an engineer and consultant, I've been able to indulge my interest in the arts to a greater extent than before. Until lockdown came along I made many visits to London to indulge these tastes and went on numerous trips abroad to interesting places with interesting people. I can't wait for that life to continue.
I have a sense of humour and enjoy a good laugh though I can be serious. I like to experience all that life can offer. My interests include: music,(mainly classical); walks; travel, including short breaks; current affairs; politics; photography; wine; eating out or in; and, particularly, discussion. I used to sail and then made a natural progression to flying gliders.
I delight in new things and enjoy change: The world is aways changing and I want to benefit from that. Not all change is for the better but it is all interesting.

It is impossible to specify you. We are all so different in a million ways so there are almost endless possibilities.
I seek a partner with whom to enjoy life. Somebody with whom I can share life's experiences. Someone to talk with and discuss anything; my best friend; a caring lover. We must have the same standards but to not necessarily the same opinions. No one can know quite what arrows outrageous fortune has yet to sling at them but, with a bit of luck, there remains much to enjoy – especially together.
