Living each day to the full is what it's all about! I love being retired so I have time to follow my interests and spend time with family.
Yes I do sing, and enjoy it! I am looking for someone who shares some of my interests (and no, you don't have to sing unless you like to sing in the shower!!) I am still young at heart, and wanting to experience more of what life has to offer. Friends say that I am a cheerful, kind, caring person who makes time for others. I enjoy being outdoors, walking, with or without my dogs, or being busy in the garden. Since I retired, I have been able to indulge my interest in all things crafty, taking up patchwork and developing other skills. In quieter moments, I read, sing or do craft pastimes. Visiting museums, galleries and historic places all interest me. I enjoy travelling both in the UK and abroad, especially in France which I love, - there are still so many places to explore! The quiet of the countryside or, for a change, the bustle of a busy city, taking in the view, or watching the world go by with the right person, is what it's all about, and what we all miss if we are here I guess!
I am sociable , enjoying spending time with friends and family at home and eating in or out. I have two grown up children and two grandsons who are gorgeous! (And yes, I know, I'm very biased!) I enjoy challenges and trying new things - experiencing someone else's hobbies will be good. I'm more than ready to branch out a bit. I also value some "me time" which I think is essential to a healthy relationship, and makes the together time all the more valuable and enjoyable. And my favourite things? A walk on a crisp winter's day or in the warm sun, hand in hand with that special someone, the smell of freshly cut grass, clean sheets, baking bread, a bonfire in the autumn, my grandsons, my dogs, the sea, freshly brewed coffee.......
