I work in IT so I mix it up outside work with my hobbies of playing the viola, church bell ringing (a surprisingly sociable hobby) and triathlon.
Likes include cats, Bach, real ale, the sea and lemon drizzle cake. Dislikes include ready meals, excessive noise and inconsiderate people.
I've been single a few years so I can look after myself (apart from DIY which I'm not very good at and frequently have to call in favours/ cake-based bribes).
Stability and calm are things I value in life. I love being outside in nature, even in the rain. Lucky that, as I live in the north west.

I'm looking for someone similarly independent who values their own space just as much as time spent with a partner. Ultimately I'd like to become the most important person in somebody's world, but I don't want to be the only thing in their world!
I'd like a man with a passion in his life; it doesn't matter particularly what that passion is. It's just important to have some get-up-and-go. It would be nice to share one or more hobbies but it's certainly not a deal breaker if not.
