About him
I enjoy life to the full. I have a loving family, lots of good friends and an active and varied social life. Having been suddenly widowed two years ago I am now looking for someone special to share my life with.
Much of my leisure time is spent playing and watching sport (mainly golf, rugby and tennis) I am a member of an amateur dramatic society generally performing in two shows a year. I enjoy cooking and gardening, playing Bridge and am a bit of a dab hand at DIY.
Prior to retiring from my main career I held a senior management position for many years. Following retirement I set up a training company specialising in management training. I also taught at the local FE college for 10 years.
I like to travel, particularly to France and Italy but there are many lovely places in the UK also.
I endeavour to keep fit by supplementing sporting activities with visits to the local gym several time a week.
I frequent the theatre regularly. My favourite films include Hanover Street, Holiday, Love Actually and the Bourne trilogies.
I consider my self to be an honest and caring person with a good sense of humour. I am told that I do not look my age and on occasions don't act it but that's what life's about.
