About him
Who am I? Now that's slightly harder. I'm a happy guy who works hard and wants to find someone to share the good times with. I am a hopeless romantic and I really try to be honest in my dealings with people. I am arty, intelligent and articulate and very much a country boy at heart. I prefer mountains, rivers and beaches to what the city has to offer except of course for the arts. I am a tree huger, who seeks out dingily dells where I can hug trees to my hearts content. I like to walk on the beach in the worst of weather, even in the very teeth of a gale, but also in the sunshine. Best of all is when there are no other footprints.
I am one of the small percent of the world's population that can make fire.
I play with paint, that's on a canvas; it's more for my own amusement than anything. I enjoyed working with leather and got a great kick out of making a western saddle.

Who am I looking for? I am looking for a soul mate, a friend and lover, someone who will be joyously irreverent with me 'till we are well into our nineties and beyond. Of course because we will expect to be accepted we, in turn, will accept everyone's right to be exactly who they are, Even when driving!
The girl that I love will love me and we will want to be in each others company because of the joy of our connection. We will not live in each others pockets, how did Antoine de Saint-Exupery put it? I would like to be recommended books to read, though I don't expect that our taste in literature will always be the same. I am looking for a feminine woman, but one who knows what she wants and has the strength of character not to be deterred from achieving her goals.
