About him
Although having spent most of my working life involved in the military& associated environments & I do like tradition & pageantry etc I AM BY NO MEANS a "military cabbage" type, always being steady & easy going.
Amicably divorced, no aggro or acrimony there. The children although now independent, are a very important part of my life.
Very often classed by my associates as one of lives " good guys", willing to help others, I am loyal, trustworthy, honest, caring & loving. Not a lot fazes me except perhaps bad manners & drivers, litter & cold callers, probably like most folk.
Besides liking classical music (not too heavy), do like & appreciate a wider spectrum of music...Not a big TV watcher, bit selective, like a serious documentaries , serious quizzes, good drama or movie, afraid, not a soap fan or big sports fan however not alienated from the latter, do watch some sport.
As regards pastimes & hobbies, I like antiques & collectibles, auctions, car boots etc. like to visit historical & our heritage sites, driving, travel, garden pottering, eating in/out with friends, currently renovating my home,(albeit slowly !). Nowadays like the simpler aspects of life, a walk (not hike) in the country/ on the beach But still have plenty of get up & go, there are lots of adventures out there with lots to see & do, especially with the right person... also like a nice glass of red wine.

I believe the qualities & attributes of any match should have similar values & virtues as myself & reciprocate but also to have individual views & interests, we are not all the same.
It would be ideal to have similar hobbies/ pastimes etc however, one must appreciate others having different ideas but to share & learn other aspects would be fun.
