Hi to you,& thanks for reading my profile. Let's start by telling you about me.
I still work a little, though flexibile so can meet and do 'stuff' during the week.
Mainly working from home, R4 starts the day for me, with a switch to R2 later for background and company.
A committed family man, I have 2 daughters,and 7 grandchildren. All of them live within easy reach,& I see them regularly, & am a major part of their lives.
Away from work I have always involved myself in vocational activities, and am still a Trustee for 2 charities, chair of 1.
For exercise I love walking, all year round.
In terms of sport as a pastime, I am an active spectator of many forms, rugby and cricket being the main ones, though I enjoy most any live sporting occasions, whether local or national/international.
I always have a thriller book on the go, a real one from the library, or on my Kindle, I swing both ways. :-)
I have travelled widely over the years, both for business and pleasure: - Amman to Austria, Bangladesh to Bermuda, Chicago to Cyprus; you get the picture.
For the avoidance of doubt; my age, height, in fact all of it, is correct. I no longer have that beard set, in one of my photos.

I am looking for a Woman aged from around 60-75. Distance? Well, being mobile I am comfortable with anything up to around a 40/50 miles radius from me, which also brings into range the environs of London. This distance is not fixed, it's more about accessibility, by road or rail.
As to who you may be, I have no set pre-conceptions about the person, it's all about the chemistry, on all levels - physical, personality - and personability, humour etc.
I seek a LTR. However what may evolve does not have to be a 24/7 thing; space for individual pursuits and interests at our stage of life seems eminently sensible. Whatever works for both of us. Oh, non smokers only need apply.

Also, I am not happy with certain boxes which only provide for 1 choice. For example, in my part retirement I would continue with voluntary work AND want to travel.
