All sorts of adventures still to be had and, ideally, shared - physical, emotional, intellectual.
I'm interested in the arts, history, science-y things, gardens - especially nurturing trees - and attempting to finish the book I started writing however many years ago.
A sociable introvert, I truly value time with my family and close friends, but I positively seek tranquility to re-charge.
A keen walker/hiker whether over Scottish hills, through the Alps or just along the towpath. Oxford is my home but I tend to migrate South in the winter and North in the summer.
My professional life was in the wine trade and my qualification has been a passport to some of the world's most interesting countries and vineyards. I loved it! Now, at a quieter pace, I am pursuing a passion project in olive oil that is happily taking me to many beautiful regions around the Mediterranean whilst providing information that will hopefully benefit others.
I am not a political animal but I do care deeply about trying to make a positive difference, and I value my hours with a local charity sharing surplus and reducing waste.
