I have been on my own now for 3 years and think life is much better if you have someone to share it with, hopefully I have got a lot of years ahead of me. My friends say I am a young 56.
I take time to get to know people, but once I have developed a friendship am a loyal and dependable person. I enjoy walking, theatre and travel, but get as much pleasure from a quiet evening in with friends. I used to eat out but have got out of the habit being on my own but would like to do this again, I enjoy cooking and it would be nice to cook for someone else, it is not the same eating alone.
I like most types of music and always have classic fm on at home. I enjoy most types of dancing.
Pets have always been part of my life, although at present don't have one, as my last cat was put to sleep just before I moved. Since moving to Portsmouth I enjoy just walking along the seafront & do so at every opportunity
