I might appear cool and calm but underneath there is an irreverent sense of humour and deep emotions.
Artistic leanings and a growing interest in science.
Family is important to me. I see my four children and two grandchildren whenever I can.
Siblings, cousins, nephews and nieces all round the world often make for an easy landing when travelling.
My yoga practice sustains me. I teach yoga, with especial focus on therapeutic, restorative yoga and yoga Nidra.
Before yoga my career was making costumes, mainly for theatre, working as a milliner and throughout making special clothes for individuals.
I'm pescatarian.
For leisure I'd choose ballet over a musical, opera rather than theatre, museum over an art gallery, walking along the Thames rather than architecture, fresh food over processed, meditation rather than a formal religion, being with a few close friends rather than a huge party, a restaurant rather than pub. However I am happy to be persuaded otherwise! (Actually I enjoy all of the above, with the exception of processed food). Of course I'd be happy to explore anything you might propose. For instance a few years ago I attempted surfing for the first time - in the Atlantic in a force 5 gale. Hilarious and exhilarating.
In 2019 I went to Mongolia and now there is a plan for me to teach yoga to a small group tour in that country - once borders open again.
During lockdown I learned to weave.

I'd love to find a gentleman who would be happy to try out my interests and to introduce me to his. If you had an interest in carpentry or some other skill that would be a bonus. Perhaps you are knowledgeable about archeology or astronomy or trees or geography or something else and you’d be happy to share your knowledge? We would not have to agree all the time, or even do everything together, but be respectful of and open to each other's opinions and tastes. Going to an exhibition, concert, meal or day out might be the sort of thing we could do until we established if we enjoyed each other's company. I'd prefer it if you did not smoke.
