About him
I'm a nice guy, not over-confident perhaps but great company when you get to know me. I have a really good sense of humour (don't we all think that about ourselves!?) but I also have a serious side and I think quite deeply about things; I'm always interested in the issues of the day. Having said that, I'm not at all stuffy or opinionated but rather quite likely to be acting silly, for the amusement of others (hopefully!) I certainly don't take myself too seriously. I'm very young in my ways and also in my appearance and people who don't know me will often place me in my mid-sixties rather than my true age.
I like reading, films, theatre, opera and I play the guitar and sing a bit. I'm quite into cryptic crosswords, although it's much more fun doing them with someone else and I also like doing sudoku. Also, for a few years now I've been playing Bridge. Middlesbrough is where my roots are, but I no longer have any strong ties here, so if I met the right lady it wouldn't be a problem to move to her location.
