Very simply put. Happy. Chilled. Funny. Quirky. Have a gentle loving nature and enjoy my home and friends. Humour and being able to see the funny side of things is essential! Adventurous. I have walked across deserts and tramped along ancient pilgrimage routes, as well as enjoying much more leisurely holidays . . . Love travelling in the UK too. We live in a beautiful and diverse country.
My life is varied and good. Love to share things: the theatre, cinema, art exhibitions and music, and especially good food and intelligent company. Wonderful with girlfriends and old friends, but would be even more so with a special lovely man!
I have a wonderful dog, a handsome black spaniel. He’s the happiest soul on four legs that I have ever met. We have great walks together.
Self-employed, I still like to work a few hours each week, as it's very rewarding. Love town, countryside, people, history and the arts in all forms. I am warm, affectionate and considerate of others. I am also a happily domestic creature and enjoying caring for people. Great cook, which I find easy, having had a lot of practice over the years in producing a good meal with 4 children! So it's all done with ease and enjoyment.
I miss being in a close and caring relationship. I realise how important; valuable and enriching it can be to every aspect of life.
Life has its deep joys, and it's great griefs; we have all experienced that at this stage of our lives. The contrasts get stronger, and friends, family and the everyday become more precious.
