About her
Despite a career in HR and some marketing with a reuirement for communication skills the hardest thing is how to describe yourself. Trying to present a positive and honest description without bragging or sounding smug - not easy. Basically I'm a happy and caring individual who loves to have a fun time out or a relaxing time at home. Easy going but prepared to work hard. Love to travel whether a weekend in Dorset or a holiday across the seas. Prefer a canal barge to a caravan and camping's not an option.
I was in a long term relationship (over 10 years) and had thought that having fallen in love somewhat later in life (early 40's) that I'd found 'the one' to spend rest of life with. But that was not to be. After the initial shock and some time to think things through - actually if I'd taken my rose tinted specs off I'd have seen it coming a couple of years sooner.
So now thinking I'm not going to let that experience tarnish what had been good but it's now time to move on. I expect to be moving down to Lymington (or nearby) in the next year - so I've put that as my 'location' even though I don't live there yet.
