I would guess, friend might describe me as dependable, hardworking and generous, with a positive outlook on life.
I recently moved from London to beautiful 400 year old house in Haslemere Surrey, theres nothing quite like waking up to the sights and sounds of the countryside, while still being only an hour from London.
I love to cook or eat out especially after a good film or theatre. Sport is important although I tend to watch or listen rather than compete now. Music is also important to me, I have a pretty varied taste, although I can't stand Elvis or Rock and Roll.
I love travelling to the South of France especially in both Spring and Autumn, there's nothing better than a good restaurant and a good bottle of wine after a hard day trawling through the antiques markets. I have 2 children who have great lives, careers and independence therefore it leaves me in a position where I can take a back seat and let them get on with their lives.
It's important to me to find someone with integrity and a little thought for others. I'm bored with the "me me me" attitude. I relise that the world isn't perfect, so someone with a "glass half full" attitude is also an important quality."
I'm now semi-retired so I have plenty of time to travel ideally with someone special.
