I love to be out and about during the day, visiting interesting places and people. I like to walk (at a fairly leisurely pace!) and explore new areas and to have lunches out. I'm most comfortable in jeans and T shirt and my manner of dress is definitely casual :)
I enjoy my small garden and have become increasingly interested in plants and I like to visit gardens in local villages in the Open Gardens scheme during spring and summer.
Nowadays I'm not one for going out socially in the evening and I don't drink alcohol, preferring to have a reasonably active day followed by a quiet evening in watching TV. I'm talkative and will readily initiate conversation and am interested in other people and their lives. I'm pretty content with life, but would be very pleased to meet someone with whom it is a pleasure to spend relaxed, informal time. I'm not interested in a sexual relationship, though to walk arm in arm or to have a cuddle would be very nice, and with the right man I would pleased to be very close companions in every other way :)

I would like to meet a gentleman with good manners, who is kind and patient. I'm talkative and enjoy the company of people who are also chatty, curious about things and about people and who have a good sense of humour. My anecdotes can be long and detailed (!) and I like to chat with people who can similarly chat at length about the normal activities of life :)
I'm of an even character, not over-reactive, and I'd like to meet someone who is equally not looking for relationship dramas :)
If you enjoy walking and seeking out new places to explore, whether that be a beautiful building or a secluded woodland, then we'd find plenty in common. If you're a keen or interested gardener, all the better! As I don't drink alcohol, I wouldn't be spending an evening sharing a bottle of wine with you, so if shared drinking is important to your enjoyment I can't join you in that. I do enjoy having lunch in a pub, though :)
