I'm a friendly, sociable person who enjoys the company of other people, but I'm also happy to spend quiet time relaxing. I've got a good sense of humour and enjoy the fun in life. A free spirit who is mellowing a bit with age! I care a lot about people - work in the field of health and social care. I love music of all kinds, particularly live - I used to play the piano and also samba drumming and I'd like to do this again one day. I also enjoy dance, art, theatre , meeting people from different cultures and travelling. I love being in the countryside, walking and absorbing the surroundings and also on occasions spending time in a city going to an exhibition or concert. I was born in London and have lived in several parts of the U.K and also spent two years in Italy.
I try to take life as it comes, see the humour in situations (very important in a confusing world) and appreciate what I have. I'm at the stage of reflecting on life and thinking about what is important. I don't like writing these profiles, I'm much better face to face!

I'm not looking for a particular type, just someone I can share the joys and sorrows of life with. Someone to do something or nothing with, share interests and try new things.
