About her
I have taken a break from dating for 2 years ( wonder why!! ) and come back refreshed and open minded to giving it another go. It's great to spend time with friends and alone but I would still like a special person in my life and am not quite ready to give up on that dream yet.
I have a totally positive outlook on life no matter how many knocks come my way, life is for living and for making the most of every situation. I don't believe I can do that on my own even though I am a very independent lady. I want someone by my side to share the ups and downs, someone to love for who they are, and to love me for who I am and not who they wish I was.
I am baggage free from past relationships, and emotionally available to someone new. I am living in my own home, running a successful financial business and not looking for financial support in a new partner. This year my work has reduced to part time so I have more time to travel and have fun :) At last looking forward to a great work life balance but no plans to fully retire for a long time.
My main interests revolve around the great outdoors. I am at my happiest out walking or trekking up a mountain. I have a total love affair with the Lake District but also love exploring new places abroad. I have a camper van and hoping now to have more time to explore further afield. I have also got back into skiing again and would love to go again with the right person.
I love open water swimming and hope to learn to paddle board this year.
In my down time I am happy in a cosy country pub or cooking a simple meal at home. With the right person cuddles on the sofa are the best, or even better in front of a lovely fire.
My dislikes are lazy people, people that don't take care of themselves or their health, and people that lie and think its ok to mislead you or take advantage of your good nature.

My ideal match would be a tall man who keeps himself fit, shares my love of the outdoors, loves animals and is looking for a committed, honest, long term relationship. Work is no longer the main focus in life but maybe still a part of his life.
He must have moved on from past relationships, living alone and established a single life as an individual.
He would need to be very loving, honest, caring and passionate.
Not sure why I put passion last as that part of life is still very important to me.
I don't need to be with someone 24/7 I think pursuing some of your own interests is healthy in a relationship.
I need someone who will put in just as much effort as I will into a relationship, so hence my 50/50 man. To me that means sharing equally in everything whether that be finances, organising activities, cooking, housework, holidays, caring and attention to each other.
Deal breakers for me would be someone who doesn't care about their health and fitness, is a major moaner or a glass half empty person, and sorry I have to admit beer guts are a turn off, but a few cuddly extra pounds no problem.
I have a gorgeous black labrador dog that I am convinced is part mountain goat ( she has climbed many of the high fells with me), she's very well trained & behaved, but I think a dislike of dogs would be a deal breaker.
