I'm funny and serious, philosophical and articulate but revel in the simple joys life offers; making the best out of what life offers; assertive yet shy, happy to hug and cuddle while watching a film, sitting by the sea or meditating in companionable yet sexy silence. I'm a writer, a poet and a teacher of adults, and every day brings me something new to learn and enjoy.
I love only the very best ice cream and chocolate (dark of course and preferably Fair Trade and organic!) and will happily sit with you in a good coffeehouse, smelling the beans, though I gave it up years ago. I drink mainly water and good wine these days. Sensual pleasures mingle with love of music, art, theatre, nature, delicate exotic (mainly veggie) food. I sing (and "they" say it sounds good) and would love someone to make music with, walk in the countryside with, dance with, snuggle with in the theatre or in front of a provocative, intelligent or weepy film (but no horror or violence).
Fortunately I am financially and emotionally solvent, loving my work and the creative freedom it offers. I don't want to stand around at a party swapping trivia but will happily plan a trip to Macchu Picchu or Iceland with you if you are adventurous enough. Still want to learn to play the saxophone some day and fantasise playing at Ronnie Scott's in a slinky black dress. Maybe it's time to get back to playing the violin.
Probably was a dolphin in previous life - I could almost live in the water and swim often, though hate those wrinkly fingers. I love mountains, rivers and beaches, hills and valleys, Devon and Dartmoor especially as a place of inspiration.
