Last child off to uni...and relax..
I enjoy cooking good food, reading great literature and learning to sing new music.
I have just got back from Anguillara with its freshwater lake, black sand and views across the water to a moody line of once menacing volcanoes. Dipping into Rome was easy by train and I would recommend beating the queues for the Sistine Chapel by booking breakfast at the Vatican Museums online.
I used to teach, now write and pay the bills through modest forms of self employment.
I enjoy family life with adults young, middling and old.
