About her
I'm a bit quiet until you know me better. I'm 68, going on 25 - I feel a lot younger than my years and act it, mostly! I love all kinds of music, reading, theatre and cinema. I also have an interest in fashion, historically and current and am fascinated by the Art Deco period, in art as well as fashion. I work quite hard at keeping myself fit and presentable, as I think it's important, although after I've done a workout at the gym, I sometimes feel that there must be an easier way! I belong to a local choir and we have performed frequently in public. I'm also a U3A member, in a book group, which meets once a month. I enjoy travelling and spend some of my year in Crete, although I would also love to visit other countries e.g. France, Spain and Italy. Although I can be quiet, I have a bubbly personality, and given that I don't feel complete unless there is a book/magazine nearby I can talk on many subjects. I also have a slightly crazy sense of humour, I'm kind, understanding and generous-spirited.
I'm not into sport, either watching or partaking - too many years of having to watch hockey, football, rugby and golf!

I would like to meet someone confident, intuitive, kind and understanding, with a great, and perhaps, slightly zany sense of humour. I would like to share my love of books and music, and of exploring new places, either at home or abroad. It would be very good if he were outgoing and comfortable in social situations. Age isn't wildly important - just needs to be healthy and active! Someone who isn't heavily into sport, or into it at all.
