About her
I'm a reasonably capable and independent lady. I am equally happy roughing it on a survival weekend in the wilds or luxuriating at a spa retreat. My work can be a bit serious so it's important to balance that with fun and laughter. Kids are perfect for that - it's in their job description. I don't have children myself but love spending time with them so am happy if that's part of your story. My background is in science but I'm endeavouring to develop my artistic side. Last year I joined a fantastic and very inspiring choir. It has ignited a passion for singing and next week I have my first ever singing lesson.
In my ideal world, I'd have a waggly dog (sadly not practical at present), a newly discovered talent, a house in the country to escape to at the weekend, a degree in music psychology, an estranged elderly aunt with a mysterious past and a family bigger than the Waltons.

The standard shopping cart desirables I suppose: I'm looking for a loving, mutually supportive partnership. Someone to grow, explore and discover with. My ideal partner is warm, compassionate, honest, confident, open-minded, curious (about life, himself, people...), intelligent, capable, creative, romantic and fun. A man who is responsible, reliable and principled but doesn't always take life too seriously and devotes time to play as well as work. Blah, blah, blah........

Well, that's the impossible ideal down on paper, but this is real life, not romantic fireside fiction. In any case, I'm sure most people would like to think that they fit the above descriptors. It's just not possible to characterise who you'll connect with. And anyway, sometimes life has other ideas and throws you a wonderfully unexpected ball from left field.
