I don't like football, so I don't hog the TV during a football tournament. However, I'm a documentary fiend.
I've been told that I've got a good sense of humour and really enjoy a good giggle -Laughter is the best medicine.
I'm adventurous and love to travel, both here and abroad: hotels, hostels, camping, walking, and cycling. Backpacking Hostels in Europe are great places to meet interesting people. I've been known to go on long road trips into Europe, at a moments notice and always keep a backpack packed ready to go. I love trying the local food and attempt the local language. I've become expert at pointing at the things I need.
I love to learn and experience new things, every day should be a school day.
I enjoy Architecture, culture, museums, mixing with the locals. I have a very eclectic taste in music, anything from Classical to chart music. My eldest daughter tells me that I'm a Geek, although I've pointed out that 'blessed are the Geeks for they shall inherit the earth'. Anyway, it does seem to be trendy to be a Geek!
I like to live real life rather than just watching TV - Real life over Reality TV, Real life is much better. Life is for living, don't just be a spectator.
I enjoy travel and adventure. A few years ago, I went backpacking around Poland and the Czech Republic. I know Prague like the back of my hand and used to give unofficial site seeing tours around the city.
I have my own house and car and I enjoy spending time with my children, I have a 14 year old boy that I have every other weekend, I also have grown children who I see regularly. I still have time for a good social life and want to share it with someone special.
I don't have any Tattoos, Piercings or chronic Haemorrhoids thankfully but I do have all my own teeth and hair.
I'm tactile and enjoy a big hug; hugs are really good for the soul.
