Tall elegant woman with good sense of humour. Looking to share interests provided you are not into bungee jumping, sky diving or anything else that means taking your life in your hands every time you take part. I love to travel both at home and abroad although my idea of a holiday is not spending all day simply lying in the sun. Instead I like to get out and about and learn something about a country, a people and it's culture. The last few years I have been on cruises as they are a good way for a woman to travel on her own. I have a passion for history particularly family history. Nothing beats shaking the branches of a family tree and seeing what falls out - hopefully not too many nuts! For many years I was a professional genealogist and have lectured on family history in various far flung outposts of the empire. I love quizzes and all kinds of puzzles.
