About him
Where to begin?
I've managed to do a lot for someone of my age - some through hard work, but mostly through sheer luck. I'm a firm believer in being in the right place at the right time, and would suggest that everyone give it a go.
Very fond of travel, I've been fortunate enough to see a fair bit of the world - I clocked up some serious air miles this year. I wouldn't mind finding a partner in crime(and/or wine) to see some more of the world with. Costa Rica and Argentina are on the list for 2019, with the potential for another foray into sub-saharan Africa. I travel to the Middle East, Far East and around Europe a great deal as part of my job.
My dream is to do some international sailing over the next few years. I would hasten to add that I don't own a boat (yet), nor am I an accomplished sailor - I've taken the step and bought 'Sailing for Dummies', I don't see what could possibly go wrong.
I really enjoy getting into the mountains when time permits. I'm originally from North Wales, so I spend a great deal of time in Snowdonia. I toyed with the idea of trying to summit the highest peak in each continent for some time, before realising it would cost as much as a reasonably sized family home.
Music is a huge part of my life. For the ease of writing this I wish I was one of those people so easily defined by one genre, but alas, that isn't the case. My playlists are terrifyingly varied, flavour of the month is Nils Frahm, in anticipation of his visit to Manchester in February. Blues, Jazz, Indie.. the list goes on.
I'm painfully aware that I've now rambled on for far too long.

Quirky is good, life is too short for carbon copies. Someone who is as fond of travelling as I am would be a huge bonus. More than anything I'd just like someone fun!
