I am a happy college lecturer looking to become happily retired. I love walking in the Lancashire hills and the Lake district and am looking for a companion to join me in my rambles across the hills and in my desire to travel further afield. I run, swim and cycle and ,although I am not brilliant at any of these, I am determined to improve. I love singing in a chamber choir and love classical music. I am an optimist who has a pragmatic view on life . I am generous , caring and kind hearted and wish to meet a similar minded individual.
