I am splendidly anachronistic and frightfully old-fashioned, though nevertheless am putting myself out there in the unlikely chance I may meet someone. I am currently a student and on finding the 23,000 students at university a far too small catchment, am seeking to broaden my search in the vain hope of meeting someone who may tolerate my company. I enjoy all things historical and intellectually challenging and would love nothing more than a long and philosophically thought-provoking.
I have a passion for deltiology, especially in relation to the First World War, and have frequently roamed the battlefields of the Continent.
I indulge in travelling when funds allow, and spent a few months living in Croatioa and Corfu, indulging in the literary world of the Homer and that of the Durrells.

I am an inherent sapiosexual and thus enjoy the company of erudite people, but following Edith Sitwell, am very tolerant of stupid people, providing they are not proud of their stupidity. I am looking for someone who enjoys long, contemplative walks, would chose a library over a club, and a cafe over a rave. Nonetheless I am more than willing to put down the books occasionally, and dabble in more hedonistic pursuits.
