About her
'Who dares nothing, need hope for nothing' is my mantra. My optimistic nature lands me in all sorts of trouble, I've taken risks and have stumbled a couple of times, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I have a quirky, irreverent sense of humour and laughter is the glue in my friendships. Being able to see hilarity in the ordinary and humour in even the saddest situations is the my way of bouncing through life.
I'm generous hearted and value kindness and honesty above most things. I'm a do-er and a contributor. I'm very organised and efficient and run my own business which gives me a fair amount of freedom. I live every day with a deep sense of gratitude for all that I have. I holiday like a banshee and say YES to most things. I love to explore the road less travelled and would spend my last penny on an air ticket to somewhere exciting.
I adore live music and go to concerts thinking I'm a fifteen year old, until my creaky bones remind me otherwise.
My greatest passion is photography and my greatest regret is not having made a profession of my passion. I live through my eyes, seeing the world as a series of little vignettes. I love to look at beautiful things, but have no need to own them.
I love to write and throw words about with abandon. A quick wit thrills me.
I cook with great passion. Nothing makes me happier than being with a group of friends around my kitchen table enjoying delicious food and drinking gin.

Someone who is upbeat and positive, kind and honest, as those to me are the most important attributes.
While I'd love to share life with someone who has some mutual interests and enjoys similar activities, I have no wish to be with anyone 24/7 as I find that stifling. A trusting relationship is what I'd aim for, but with space for both people do do their own thing in the confidence that they are loved and supported.
Quiet confidence and a real sense of self is appealing to me.
