I'm quirky, interested in virtually everything, intelligent and capable. I bake or knit or write novels or research history with equal flair and enthusiasm ... and occasionally with equally disastrous results! I lived in Greece for a few years and love it there. Also very fond of Italy and would like to do more travelling now I am retired. I firmly believe that life is for grabbing by the throat and doing things - it is not a rehearsal! Life has been full of challenges up to now and I'm looking forward to the next one, though preferably not on my own. Please note I no longer drive so distance may be an issue. I have a much loved dog who ensures I get lots of exercise!
