About him
I am friendly and loyal, a good listener, and also a good talker but learning to be comfortable with companionable silence. If there's a 'connection' with somebody, I can make people laugh. I have a strong sense of hospitality.
I like films (indie and mainstream), music, especially classical (obviously) and trad jazz, currently trying to extend the range a bit. I love living in Scotland (despite the weather) and have strong sense of being Scottish, but am not really a nationalist!
I have lately rediscovered the joys of singing and belong to a choir, I like cycling (although I rarely do these days) and sailing which I don't do enough of either. I am also rediscovering an interest in pictures and love learning about fine art.
I have a job which I love and loath in equal measure which is quite pressurised at times so relaxation is very important left to my own devices I can be very lazy!
I want to feel I can still do some very small piece of good through my work, I want to be kind and not hurt people, although like most of us I don't always get that right.
Overall, I think my outlook is fundamentally optimistic!

Tolerance on both sides and a willingness to be accepting of each other, 'warts and all' and finding a balance between each giving and taking our own space.
