About him
I'm not very good at personal descriptions... The Big Sell might make me look arrogant and too much modesty might make me seem undesirable. I'll tell you some of my likes and interests and let you decide...
Music is a big part of my life: it's in my job and it occupies a fair amount of my leisure time. I play a few instruments to a modest level and I sing in choirs. I guess I'm a bit geeky in some ways, but that's a good thing these days, right?! Other things I enjoy include dancing and going to the theatre, eating out and photography. Things I wish I found more time for include reading and learning/improving my foreign languages.
I'm told I'm a good listener and I try to be considerate of other people. I hope that I'm thought to be intelligent. I value these qualities in others. There are bits of the philosopher, spiritualist, counsellor, logician, artist and historian all mixed in there too.

About his ideal match
I don't think I have a type. Hopefully there will be a mutual physical attraction from the outset, but I am much more interested in meeting somebody compatible because of the fact that he thinks like me or in a sympathetic way to me. If we could chat comfortably for hours, then I'd say we're probably a match.
Ideally he'll be intelligent, caring, honest - who wouldn't want those characteristics in their partner?! - and have a passion for (an) interest(s) of his own. It'd be great to meet someone independent-thinking, but not close-minded.
Age isn't too significant in my idea of compatibility, however it is important to me to be with someone who recognises where he is in his life and accepts where I am. It'd be a shame to meet the perfect person only to find that we're trying to head in different directions.
