Enthusiastic and free spirited, I'm happy outdoors in any weather, often with my working cocker spaniel beside me .. whether exploring new landscapes or appreciating the beauties close to home.
I love that feeling at the end of an active day, flopping down to relax with good food and wine - not the world's best cook but I love eating ;) Reading is a treat and also a priority. Some of my other favourite things: weekend chocolate in bed with my morning pot of tea, Sunday papers, old buildings, music to chill to, music that makes me dance around the kitchen, heirlooms with a story to tell, my garden birds ..
I enjoy travelling including volunteering during events abroad, sometimes in a medical capacity, but equally I love spending time in the UK exploring our rich diversity of nature and history. Renovating my home and pottering in my garden give me a great sense of achievement and contentment. I look for balance, harmony and the simple pleasures in life.
I'm down to earth and fun loving, but also have a soft and romantic side which values sensitivity and emotional honesty. Being tactile and sensual within a relationship is essential to me.
I work part-time (physio/teach pilates) and have grown up children. I've always enjoyed exercise, in particular walking, running, swimming, skiing and pilates. I've recently bought a digital piano and I'm loving going back to basics 50 years after my initial efforts!
