About him
Writing about yourself is very difficult, unless you're someone like Katie Hopkins, but here goes....
I’m a 68 year old man who still thinks he’s thirty or forty something even though his body tells him he’s not (see below). I’m intelligent, social, funny and caring. I'm also an incurable romantic (don't tell my friends) who, too often, seems to end up in the 'Friend Zone'. Must be my cologne.
I love travelling especially to my second home, Rhodes, where I have lots of friends. If you're interested, I'll see if I can fit you in my suitcase.
Now the negative bit. I have had COPD since 2004. It's a nuisance but I still enjoy my life (see my photos). I won't be entering for any marathons in the future though. If anyone finds this off putting, I understand.
I'll finish there as I don't want to give too much away too early.

About his ideal match
I'm not sure that anyone really knows who their ideal match is. How many of us have chased an ideal only to find out that it is not what we thought it would be . Sometimes happiness is staring you in the face but you don't recognise it.
You may think, for example, that you prefer tall slim men but it might be a short chubby guy who makes you laugh and makes you happy. Or vice versa.
For that reason, I have no ideal age, height, size, hair or eye colour. Even having different hobbies can be a positive sometimes. Hopefully, I will know the person when I see her.
