I am genuine and honest, loving and caring, enjoy watching the sunset, or a good play, a glass of wine in the garden, or curled up on the sofa, a long walk or laze on the beach - I believe in living my life, my glass is half full but I'd like more! I am still young at heart and can skip with the best!
I retired early this year expecting and anticipating new adventures, wanting to make the most of whatever time I have left, but have had to make do with walking ... I now have my New Zealand badge with Fitbit! ... enjoying the garden and reading lots of books ... on reflection it’s been a very relaxing year... trying to be optimistic for 2021.
I have two wonderful children who are both independent and amazing individuals and a joy to spend time with. I have 2 cats who occasionally enjoy a cuddle and am pondering the prospect of a puppy... possibly a cockapoo... definitely something pretty. I used to have a Golden Retriever so know the enormous commitment required as a dog owner ... am I ready for that ... or should I hold off and hope the pandemic ends and I can explore?
Music makes me happy ... classical, pop, Motown, jazz ... but also love total peace and quiet ... simply hearing the wind through the trees, birds on the wing, waves on the shore.
