About him
Scottish by birth I have always lived in London. I have had a long career in printing and publishing, mainly book design and production, working freelance for 27 years. I split my life between London and the Hebridean islands of the West Coast. I have a gazebo (garden office) overlooking the sea, …and a boathouse for my kayaks. London is the most stimulating place in the world and the West Coast of Scotland the most ancient and least spoiled coastline of Europe. I love the contrast.
I enjoy walking and any sort of boating, both in London and wherever I happen to be. Latest interest: I have recently rediscovered the USA. On my latest visit I crossed the North Atlantic in an ocean liner, the proper way to get there.
