Whilst I am a good and sympathetic listener, life is far too short to suffer fools at all, never mind gladly. I am pragmatic and very much a realist - no doubt some would say a sceptic. My interests are wide though the fields of most pop music and professional sports are totally alien to me. I love travel (though I loath air travel, but accept it is sometimes necessary) and can find interest in almost anything. I love gardens, opera, cinema, and many, many other things. My outlook on life is that it is there to be enjoyed while I can.
